Ornate off-white card, 5 x 2.75, bearing the text, “For the President of the United States, Grover Cleveland of the State of New York,” signed in the lower border in black ink, “Grover Cleveland.” Likely originally used to reserve President Cleveland’s seat at a formal banquet.
